Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, October 13, 2026 — XIGNUX celebrated its 70th anniversary with its employees and their families at XIGNUX Fest, held October 10 and 11 at Parque Fundidora. More than 20,000 employees and family members from Nuevo León attended the two-day celebration.

The program combined entertainment with experiences that brought XIGNUX’s history to life. At the history pavilion, visitors explored the company’s evolution decade by decade, from 1956 to the present. The exhibit presented XIGNUX’s story alongside key moments in Mexico and around the world, using figures and cultural references to bring each era to life. The company’s story began with Conductores Monterrey, now Viakable, which began operations with 15 employees and seven machines.

As part of its sustainability efforts, XIGNUX provided more than 7,000 cartons of water in packaging designed to reduce reliance on conventional plastic. The cartons were made from renewable materials, including paper sourced from FSC-certified forests. The certification supports responsible forest management, and the caps were made from plant-based plastic derived from sugarcane.

Families also received bags made from recovered BYDSA snack packaging. MITZ, a social-impact organization, worked with women artisans to make the bags by hand, giving the packaging a second life. Through training and ongoing support, MITZ helps artisans turn recovered materials into products that create income opportunities and advance their economic independence.

During the evening, Juan Ignacio Garza Herrera, XIGNUX’s CEO, gave brief remarks to employees and thanked their families.

“We truly value the energy and time you share with us. They have helped bring our story to life. I especially want to thank your families. Their support at home is essential to your work and gives greater meaning to our purpose of energizing life,” Garza Herrera said.

Oscar de J. Martínez Treviño, XIGNUX’s director of Corporate Development, added: “We wanted to recognize the people who make our history possible. That’s why we brought generations together to connect and enjoy the celebration, while also sharing our journey.”

As XIGNUX celebrates its 70th anniversary, it recognizes the contributions of its employees and their families, as well as the trust of its customers and partners. The company reaffirms its purpose of energizing life by creating valuable connections for all, guided by its core values: Be Trustworthy and Pursue Excellence.

The festivities included performances by Grupo Kuorum and Grupo Pesado, along with amusement rides, inflatable attractions, games of skill, a circus, a haunted house and XIGNUX activities. These included “Decode the Frequency,” “Bring the Energizer to Life” and an interactive wall focused on connections. Booths hosted by Viakable, Qualtia and BYDSA gave families the opportunity to learn more about the companies, their brands and products.

A drone show brought the festivities to a close, lighting up the night with images that evoked how XIGNUX employees energize life and contribute to a better world.
