XIGNUX Hosts Its 2026 Race

As part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, XIGNUX held its 2026 Race at Fundidora Park.

With the participation of more than 2,000 people competing in the 1K, 5K, and 10K races, the Monterrey-based company brought together energizers, family members, and friends to enjoy recreational activities, hydration stations, and food offerings, creating an event for the whole family.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, several initiatives were implemented to help protect the environment. These included incorporating 2,000 recovered Tetra Pak containers into the event’s operations and distributing more than 2,000 medals made from biodegradable materials.

To promote a sustainable culture, recycled materials were used throughout the event and waste was properly managed and directed toward social causes, with the support of Grupo Promesa and consulting firm Cíclica, as well as the participation of 30 volunteers from XIGNUX companies.

Thanks to these efforts, 393.83 kg of recyclable materials, organic waste, and general waste were collected. The proceeds generated from these materials were donated to nonprofit organizations to support their social initiatives.

Additionally, to raise awareness about visual disabilities, Destellos de Luz, an initiative promoted by Fundación XIGNUX, developed sensory experiences designed to strengthen empathy and increase awareness of inclusion.

At the end of the event, winners in each category were recognized.
