Xignux purchases leading beef company

Monterrey, Nuevo León, June 11, 2018

Xignux, S.A. de C.V. today announced that one of its subsidiaries, Qualtia, had successfully completed the acquisition of Grupo XO de Chihuahua, a leading Mexican maker of beef products, having obtained the necessary regulatory approvals.

Grupo XO de Chihuahua has 25 years of experience in processing, selling and distributing premium meats in the foodservice industry, which incorporates the institutional, restaurant, hotel and corporate cafeteria markets.

It operates in various cities of central, western and southern Mexico, currently with two meat processing plants in Mexico State and Querétaro.

With this transaction, Qualtia further strengthens its Food Service Group business, with the aim of developing the most complete service solution in Mexico.
