Xignux, Viakable and Prolec came together for the event “Joining Efforts for Nuevo León,” held at Cintermex and organized by Red SumaRSE, a regional ally of Cemefi.
During the event, the social efforts of large companies and MiPyMEs from Nuevo León that earned the 2024 ESR® Distinction were recognized.
Representing Xignux, Ana Cecilia Herrera, who currently serves as the president of Red SumaRSE, presented the annual report, highlighting initiatives that made a positive impact in Nuevo León over the year. The event also featured three conferences focused on sustainability, diversity and corporate governance topics:
- “Trends in Sustainable Business”, presented by Eduardo Aguiñaga, National Director of Full-Time Programs at EGADE Business School and researcher in circular economy.
- “Closing the Gender Gap in Companies”, presented by Sol Sánchez, National Gender Officer at the United Nations Development Program.
- “Transparency and Accountability as Drivers of CSR”, given by Karla Guerrero, Director and Founder of Ética y Estrategia Consultores and Sistema de Ética y Transparencia (SET).
