

Santa Catarina, N.L., April 10, 2024: BYDSA (Botanas y Derivados, S.A. de C.V.), a Xignux company, strengthens its commitment to sustainability by renovating its distribution center in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, which was equipped with a fleet of 75 fully electric trucks.
This initiative, which represented an investment of more than 100 million pesos, marks a milestone in the reduction of emissions from combustion engines in its operations and reflects Xignux’s commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
“The transformation of our distribution center in Santa Catarina makes clear the interest we have at Xignux in contributing to a more sustainable future in the locations where we have a presence. BYDSA informed that it has also implemented measures to optimize water consumption in its operations, demonstrating tangible efforts in the responsible management of natural resources. This initiative adds to BYDSA’s commitment to water treatment, a practice that is already part of its DNA, as well as the reforestation campaigns it has led in different regions of Mexico in recent years.
Voltway, also a Xignux company, successfully led the engineering and installation of 10 eNext chargers. This state-of-the-art equipment not only enables fast and efficient vehicle charging, but also integrates innovative real-time monitoring software.
