We Energize Collaboration, Innovation, and Strategic Alignment

The Information Technologies (IT) and Digital Transformation (DT) teams from Viakable, Qualtia, BYDSA, and Corporate gathered for the ninth edition of the Information Technology Congress, with the goal of sharing progress on strategic projects and learning about the department’s future plans.

Held on March 11 at Pabellón M, the event began with opening remarks from Ángel Hermida, Director of Information Technologies at Xignux Corporate, who also presented the 2025 results and their connection to Vision 2030.

Throughout the day, leaders from Xignux companies presented key business initiatives, highlighting progress and results.

Fernando Brubeck, Digital Transformation Manager at Viakable, shared updates on the SAP implementation and the lessons learned throughout the project. He highlighted benefits such as operational standardization, greater information traceability, and improvements in administrative efficiency.

Juan Carlos Naranjo, Planning and Supply Chain Manager at Qualtia, presented the company’s technological evolution and the progress of the TÓOP project, focused on optimizing the supply chain through processes and technology. He emphasized improvements in inventory visibility, operational planning, and the integration of cross-functional teams.

Rubén Torres, Information Technologies Manager at BYDSA, presented the “Impulsa” project, which includes the implementation of MC1, a route sales platform that has improved operational accuracy, digitalized the commercial process, and facilitated access to real-time information for decision-making.

Eduardo Cantú, Business Transformation Partner Manager at Corporate Development, together with Ana Campa, Human Resources Information and Processes Manager, shared progress on the GTX project through the implementation of Workday. This initiative has enabled the unification of talent processes, centralized information management, and an improved employee experience through a single platform.

As a special guest, Rajesh Kandaswamy, Distinguished Vice President and Analyst in Gartner’s Global CIO Practice, delivered a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence in IT.” He shared technology adoption strategies and approaches such as “AI First,” designed to accelerate digital evolution.

During the Q&A session, Ángel de Soto, Corporate Administration and Finance Director, shared his perspective on the organization’s key challenges heading into 2026.

The event also featured the presentation of the 2026 Xénix Awards, recognizing the energizers who best embody the mission, vision, and values of IT at Xignux.

The event ended with a closing message from Ángel Hermida, who encouraged attendees to continue collaborating to drive Xignux’s future, reinforcing the congress theme: “Pillars that Strengthen Digital Evolution.”

Finally, participants enjoyed a networking cocktail reception that provided an opportunity for idea exchange, networking, and interactive activities that foster stronger integration among teams.
