We showcased developments that project us into the future

PORTADA Mostramos avances que nos proyectan hacia el futuro

Xignux’s CEO visited different areas that are part of Viakable’s expansion in Nuevo León.

On July 22, we welcomed Juan Ignacio Garza Herrera, who learned about the progress of the expansion projects at the Compuestos, Baja, and Media Tensión plants, as well as at Magnekon Plant 2. He was also introduced to the experience of implementing the Standardized Floor Management (GPE) program at the Flexibles Plant, as well as other relevant initiatives.

Also present during the tour were: Carlos Ramos, CEO of Viakable; Arturo Garza, Supply Chain Director; Miguel Cortés, Operations Director; Patricio Murga, Human Resources Director; Eduardo Garza, UEN Energy Manager; Juan José Rodríguez, TPS Manager; as well as leaders and managers from the various plants and service areas.

We began the visit at the new Compounds Plant line, where Jaime Martínez, plant manager, explained the progress of the investment and the results achieved with the expansion.

Afterwards, the group moved on to the Flexibles Plant. There, Juan Garza Ortiz, the manager of that operation, presented the GPE initiative and its positive impact on the plant. In addition, colleagues who are part of this initiative shared their experience of transformation and development as part of GPE, which will allow us to strengthen our floor management model.

Afterwards, we visited the Low and Medium Voltage plants, where our colleagues, led by Eduardo Martínez, manager of the Energy Expansion plant, showed the progress of the investment and the results obtained with the new lines.

We continued the tour to Magnekon, where we observed the progress of the expansion of its Plant 2, the Evo-flat 20-2 machine, and the digital FMDS (Floor Management Development System) initiative.

Finally, we met with the Supply Chain team to learn more about the Evolution initiative and its contributions to customer service, as well as the progress on the renovation of logistics spaces in Monterrey.

At Viakable, we continue to work on projects and initiatives that are crucial to achieving our 2030 Vision.
