We held a cleanup and reforestation day in the vicinity of Viakable’s El Carmen plant as part of an effort to improve the natural environment in the area.
During the activity, held on Saturday, July 19, we had the participation of around 120 volunteers, including energizers, their families, the community, and local authorities, who planted 13 native trees and carried out various cleaning tasks.
Beyond the environmental intervention, this day allowed us to foster a sense of belonging and responsibility towards the shared spaces in El Carmen, N.L.
The activity was led by members of Cerro Grande, a partner organization specializing in environmental education, who shared their thoughts on caring for the environment and the importance of regenerating our green spaces.
We are grateful to everyone who joined in this effort and whose enthusiasm helped strengthen the bond between the community and its natural environment. We will continue to promote initiatives like this that generate social and environmental value.
