On June 12, as part of World Blood Donor Day, the Ministry of Health, through the State Center for Blood Transfusion, recognized the blood donations made by companies in the region.

The Nuevo León Ministry of Health values the generosity and humanism of companies that promote blood donation.

Regular and consistent blood donation by the population can make a difference in emergency situations and the care of patients undergoing prolonged treatment. Any donation is very valuable. It is estimated that each unit of donated blood can save up to three lives.

The head of the state Health Department, Alma Rosa Marroquín, indicated that men can make up to four donations per year and women two donations per year without posing a risk to their health.
