In a spirit of connection and collaboration, we gathered with our partners to commemorate a story built on empathy, purpose and shared action. After 15 years of work, social commitment and positive transformation, we celebrated the journey we’ve walked together.
We were honored to welcome over 65 guests, including allied Civil Society Organizations, the Xignux Foundation Council, Red en Común Magazine, the External Communications team, and the Audit team, all of whom have been key players in this collective impact.
Marcela Garza Herrera, President of Xignux Foundation, delivered a heartfelt welcome message, reaffirming the beginning of our mission for the common good. Since its origin nearly 70 years ago, Xignux has maintained a strong commitment to social investment and community engagement, contributing to sustainable development with a deep social conscience. This legacy includes promoting the growth of its Energizers and cultivating a culture grounded in teamwork, ethics, and service.
Fifteen years ago, the Xignux Foundation was formally established as part of this long-standing commitment.
As a highlight of the celebration, we carried out a purpose-driven activity focused on bringing well-being to communities with limited access to clean drinking water.
Participants collaborated in assembling 16 water purification filters, which will benefit 16 families from the Residencial Santa Lucía community in García, Nuevo León, where tap water contains larvae and contaminants.
The families were selected through a socio-nutritional survey that identifies individuals living below the extreme poverty line (by income) and/or in conditions of food insecurity.
Through dynamic activities, games and teamwork, we experienced powerful moments of reflection about the importance of access to safe drinking water, a resource that is not guaranteed for everyone.
Over the past 15 years, the Xignux Foundation has shown that commitment, empathy and action can truly transform realities.
Leaving a mark is part of our purpose.
Change begins where there is will, and it multiplies where there is community.
