We celebrated the seventh edition of the Future Preparation Workshop, organized by the Labor Relations Department at Xignux. This event was designed to support our Energizers nearing retirement, offering them guidance and tools for a positive and well-informed transition.
The event brought together 400 attendees, including Energizers aged 59 and over, their companions, government officials and retirement specialists. Our colleagues from the Human Resources, Social Security, and Labor Relations departments across Xignux companies were also present.
The workshop aimed to provide comprehensive information on key aspects for a successful retirement, such as social benefits, pensions, the CRECE wealth system, and probate proceedings. Attendees also enjoyed the talk “Living with Purpose, Living with Passion”, delivered by María Julia Lafuente Salinas, a charismatic and compassionate communicator and a well-known figure in Monterrey.
We were honored to have Oscar de J. Martínez, Corporate Development Director, deliver the opening remarks.
We were also joined by Myrna Elia García, General Director of the State Institute for Older Adults (IEPAM), who gave a talk on “IEPAM’s Functions and the Rights of Older Adults,” along with other institute authorities.
Additional topics covered included IMSS pensions, labor inclusion, entrepreneurship, and brain gymnastics exercises to support neurological health.
To enrich the experience, we featured various informational modules provided by key organizations such as the Nuevo León Notaries Association, DIF Nuevo León, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), IEPAM, the Institute for Training and Education for Work (ICET). Our CRECE Wealth System, and the Xignux Institute for Integral Development (IFIX)).
At Xignux, we understand that providing the right tools and information is essential to help our Energizers confidently navigate all stages of life, retirement included.
