Prolec was present at this great event held in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, organized by the Paraguayan National Committee of CIGRE with the support of Itaipu Binacional, which brought together more than 800 professionals and experts from countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Peru.
During the meeting, technical sessions of the 16 CIGRE Study Committees, the ExpoERIAC, the Forum of Nations and panels such as Next Generation Network (NGN) and Women in Energy (WiE) were held. In addition, there were technical visits and a closing ceremony where the best papers were recognized.
On behalf of Prolec, we actively participated in the event, standing out with two technical presentations by Juan Castellanos, leader of our Technical Management. The topics addressed were the following: development of VG100 vegetable oil, a biodegradable dielectric fluid with high thermal performance and lower environmental impact, and the design of the flexible transformer, a modular solution that allows adapting the equipment to different operating conditions with greater efficiency. Both technologies were developed by our energizers and patented by Prolec.
It is worth mentioning that the conference related to our flexible transformer was recognized as one of the best papers of the meeting, awarding a third-place certificate to our exhibitor. This fact highlights Prolec’s capacity for innovation and commitment to technological progress in the electrical sector.
Prolec’s participation in the XX ERIAC 2025 reaffirms our position as leaders in innovation within the Ibero-American electrical sector.
