We presented the progress of our operations expansion and high-impact projects to the Xignux Executive Team and TPS consultants.
At Viakable’s San Luis Potosí plant, we welcomed the TPS Steering Committee, where we shared improvement initiatives, updates on the building wire expansion, quality enhancement efforts and the TPS strategy for 2025.
The session included the participation of Juan Ignacio Garza Herrera, CEO of Xignux; Oscar de J. Martínez, Corporate Development Director; Ángel De Soto, Corporate Finance and Administration Director; Alfonso Benavides, Competitiveness Director at Xignux; Carlos Ramos, CEO of Viakable; Ricardo Suárez, CEO of Prolec; Héctor Silva, CEO of Qualtia; and Jesús González, CEO of BYDSA.
The visit began with a welcome from Miguel Cortés, who highlighted San Luis as a model plant, a result made possible by the dedication of the entire team.
Next, Juan José Rodríguez presented the TPS 2025 strategy, proposing central TPS support for initiatives focused on increasing productivity and reducing costs. He also introduced a measurement system designed to assess the maturity level of TPS within the organization.
The visit continued with a plant tour, where committee members learned about the visual factory project, the increase in building wire capacity driven by the expansion, the new NM6 machines, and the Fast Response initiative. This aligns with Viakable’s quality strategy and cultural approach.
Following the tour, committee members shared their impressions of the visit and the projects presented. Additionally, colleagues from Prolec, Qualtia and BYDSA joined remotely to present key initiatives from their respective companies.
The day concluded with a set of presentations on efforts to strengthen Xignux’s Work Culture, followed by final reflections from the committee.
We extend our appreciation and recognition to all colleagues involved in presenting the projects and organizing the visit.
