Through the installation of electric vehicle chargers, we promote cleaner practices and reinforce our leadership in responsible initiatives that generate value for the business, the community and the environment.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and the well-being of our energizers, customers and suppliers, at Xignux we have taken a firm step towards electric mobility by installing 18 electric vehicle chargers in different plants of our companies: Viakable, Prolec, Qualtia and BYDSA.

This action is aligned with our Vision 2030 and strengthens our ESG model, contributing to reduce emissions, support responsible practices and offer tangible benefits to our stakeholders.

The chargers are available for free use by employees, suppliers and customers, thus encouraging the use of electric vehicles within our Xignux community. This initiative not only fosters a culture of environmental responsibility, but also enhances the experience of those who are part of our business.

Positive environmental impact

The installation of these chargers will reduce approximately 339.5 tons of CO₂ annually. This figure is equivalent to the amount of CO₂ that would be absorbed by approximately 15,595 trees in a year. Furthermore, this reduction is comparable to removing 73 private cars from circulation (average) during one year.

In total, we installed 18 electric chargers. This action reaffirms our commitment to sustainability and focuses on our “Corporate Citizen” pillar of Vision 2030. Through innovation and environmental awareness, we continue to energize a better future for our companies, people and planet.
