Viakable inaugurated a new logistics center in Mérida

En Viakable, inauguramos centro logístico en Mérida (1)

With this new facility, we’ve upgraded the infrastructure and designed a layout with an optimized flow. As a result, we achieved a 40% increase in daily shipment volume, which will improve delivery quality and customer service across Mérida, Cancún, Playa del Carmen, and Campeche.

This new warehouse also enables us to continue delivering the best experience to our customers by operating more efficiently and supporting our projected growth toward Vision 2030.

The opening ceremony was attended by Arturo Garza, Supply Chain Director; Patricio Murga, Human Resources Director; Alejandro Rivero, Mexico Commercial Manager; Eddna Ramos, Distribution and Logistics Manager; Maritza Almanza, Communications and Social Responsibility Manager; Jorge Torres, Transportation Planning Manager; along with other colleagues from the Supply Chain area and the logistics center team.

Covering more than 1,900 square meters, the facility complies with all operational permits required by the authorities and stands out as a standard operations model, already prepared to operate through SAP once the Viakable Next project is implemented.

The inauguration also introduced the new graphic identity of SOLOG, aimed at enhancing our professional image for clients.

We are especially proud to share that this is the first commercial warehouse in our network led by a woman, our energizer Glendy Ruiz, a testament to Viakable’s commitment to inclusion and diversity.

We thank everyone who made this project a reality, and the colleagues who will lead this key operation to help us remain the preferred choice in the market.
