On August 28, the BYDSA team announced the inauguration of Phase II of our León, Guanajuato plant, marking the start of operations for a new production line.

The event took place at the plant’s facilities and was attended by prominent figures, including Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Governor of the State of Guanajuato; Juan Ignacio Garza Herrera, CEO of Xignux; Oscar de J. Martínez Treviño, Director of Corporate Development; and Ramón Alfaro, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development. The event also welcomed wholesale channel clients and team members involved in the new production line project.

During the ceremony, we highlighted that this project will double the number of jobs at the plant and increase employment by 50% across new routes and branches, creating more than 500 additional jobs over the next five years.

The inauguration continued with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, led by Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Juan Ignacio Garza Herrera, Oscar de J. Martínez Treviño, Jesús González, and Arturo Garza.

To showcase the facilities, part of the BYDSA and Xignux leadership teams, along with the attending authorities, toured the plant. Marco Vinicio, Director of Operations, shared details about the production processes of our snacks during the tour.
