At Prolec GE Waukesha, we had the honor of hosting local government officials, including the Mayor and the Community Development Director, as well as executives from the Waukesha County Business Alliance (WCBA).

The group of visitors included Shawn Reilly (Mayor) and Jennifer Andrews (Community Development Director) from the City of Waukesha government. From the WCBA, we welcomed Amanda Payne (President & CEO), Therese Thill (Economic Development Director), and Will Neitzel (VP of Public Policy).

The visit was hosted by Troy Kabrich, Chief Operations Officer, and Tammy Behrens, Marketing Director.

During the briefing session, we discussed the current business landscape, our company’s growth, and relevant topics such as workforce development, infrastructure, financing, and the potential impact of public policies on business conditions.

The visit also included a tour of our facility, where our guests saw our products and learned about the positive impact we create in the communities we serve.

At Prolec GE Waukesha, we actively collaborate with the city and work closely with the WCBA through various initiatives, including the Industrial Managers Association, HR and business roundtables. We also support WCBA programs such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Women in Manufacturing (FEMADE), and design and engineering programs within the local school system.

This visit reaffirmed Prolec GE Waukesha’s commitment to local development and our ongoing collaboration with communities and strategic partners.
