On Valentine’s Day, Prolec Energizers organized a sale to benefit institutions that support the community.

The Sale with a Cause was held on February 14 and featured items such as keychains, mugs, bracelets, flowers and cookies to support three institutions that make a real difference in our communities.

The first two beneficiaries were DIF Apodaca and Centro Down Crecer Juntos – Apodaca, Mexico. They focus on promoting educational, family, social, sports and labor integration of people with Down syndrome.

Additionally, we supported Aprendix Asesores, a center for integral development that specializes in training and guiding young people with intellectual disabilities.

Staff members from these institutions offered products made by them so that our Energizers could purchase them as a gift option for Valentine’s Day.

With the generous support of Prolec Energizers, we successfully raised a total of $35,190 pesos. These funds will help the institutions continue the important labor of providing employment and developing skills for people with disabilities.
