This upgrade, which began in early 2023, concluded with the installation and commissioning of a third production line, allowing the 500,000-square-foot (46,450-square-meter) plant to expand its portfolio to include three-phase pad-mounted transformers. These products improve the efficiency, reliability, and flexibility of power grids utilized in wind farms, solar projects and other industrial and renewable energy initiatives. Additionally, the plant\u2019s design optimization increased production capacity by 15% for the existing network transformer and voltage regulator lines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The inauguration event featured speeches by company executives and federal and local dignitaries, including Bridget Bartol, representative of the U.S. Department of Energy, Secretary Jennifer Granholm\u2019s office, and Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux. Representatives from Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry\u2019s office, U.S. Senators John Neely Kennedy and Bill Cassidy, U.S. Representative Mike Johnson, and employees of the company also attended. Along with representatives from organizations such as Louisiana Economic Development, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the Transformer Manufacturers Association of America (TMAA) and community leaders.
