On April 28th, we proudly celebrated the first edition of the Xignux Energize Life Race. This sporting event energized over a thousand runners and their families at Parque Fundidora.<\/b><\/p>\n

In an atmosphere of camaraderie and motivation, Xignux Energizers challenged themselves in the 1K, 5K, and 10K categories, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for the whole family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond the competition, the Xignux Energize Life Race provided a space for fun and family bonding. At the booths of our companies\u2014Viakable, Prolec, Qualtia, and BYDSA\u2014participants enjoyed engaging activities for all ages.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, we reinforced our commitment to the planet by implementing measures to minimize the race\u2019s environmental impact:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Recycled PET shirts:<\/strong> Participants received shirts made from recycled materials derived from plastic bottles.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • MDF medals:<\/strong> The race medals were crafted from MDF, a biodegradable and sustainable material.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Eco-friendly hydration:<\/strong> Tetrapak water boxes were used to hydrate participants, reducing the use of disposable plastic bottles.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Eco-friendly kits:<\/strong> Biodegradable transparent bags were provided for race kits, along with kraft paper bags for recovery kits.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    This vibrant sporting event also served as an excellent platform to encourage civic participation in voting, which is a cornerstone of building a better country. Erick Solheim and Wendy Saavedra joined us throughout the event, sharing messages of reflection on civic awareness.<\/span>Moreover, we set up various photo stations by MeVeo to capture the best family moments.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The first Xignux Energize Life Race was organized by the Labor Relations Department and the Corporate Communication and Social Responsibility Department.<\/span><\/p>\n
