Qualtia strengthened its ties with higher education institutions in Nuevo León through a series of sessions led by company leaders at Universidad de Monterrey, Tecnológico de Monterrey, and Tec Milenio.

During April and May, university students had the opportunity to explore key topics such as digital transformation, marketing, leadership, and supply chain management, as well as learn about professional development opportunities within the company.

These activities are part of Qualtia’s strategy for engaging with young talent, with the goal of bringing industry closer to the academic world and sharing insights into the challenges and opportunities of today’s work environment.

Strengthening Connection and Culture within Human Resources

The Human Resources team participated in Más Humanos, an initiative created to deepen key processes and insights while strengthening the connection among those who drive culture and talent across the organization.

The event, focused on collaboration and team development, brought together Human Resources leaders and coordinators from all locations.

The program included messages from senior leaders, a panel featuring internal clients, and a discussion space dedicated to analyzing current challenges and opportunities to further strengthen the function of the department. In addition, high-value keynote sessions were delivered, along with a practical workshop aimed at generating joint solutions.

The gathering also reinforced closeness and a strong sense of community among participants.

We reinforce our environmental commitment

More than 60 energizers joined together for a reforestation day in the Los Morales neighborhood of San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, where we planted more than 120 trees in Las Torres Linear Park.

In conjunction with Ecopil, a civil association dedicated to the development of environmental management projects, we received brief training on the anacahuita and evergreen oak, native species of Nuevo León that we would plant during the day.

The activity was attended by Alfonso Guerrero, Director of Human Resources; Mara Izaguirre, Director of Administration and Finance; and Jorge Lozano, Director of Institutional Relations, as well as family members, friends, and neighbors from the neighborhood.

We are grateful to all our volunteers, whose support made it possible to benefit more than 360 people, in addition to contributing to the recovery of green areas and strengthening our community.

We are certified at the Ready Foods Escobedo plant

At the Ready Foods Escobedo plant, we received ISO 22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000) management system certification for the first time, thereby strengthening our alliance with strategic customers.

This system has been in operation at Ready Foods plants since 2018, in compliance with the requirements to be an authorized supplier of ready-to-eat or assembled products (sandwiches, tortas, baguettes, croissants, burritos, taquitos, pizza, and salads).

With this accreditation, there are now six Ready Foods plants certified by Global Standards, an entity that conducts certification audits endorsed by internationally recognized accreditation bodies such as EMA, ANAB, ANSI-ASQ, Global GAP, Primus GFS, SQF, and the FSSC 22000 Foundation, among others.

We celebrated this achievement with a special ceremony, the result of the effort and dedication of the plant operations team, led by Alejandro Martínez, operations manager; Dulce Karina de León, Escobedo plant manager; and Carlos Alvarado, quality coordinator.

This recognition reflects our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, as established in our Comprehensive Safety Policy.

ISO 22000 certification represents another step forward on our path to operational excellence, consolidating Qualtia’s position as a benchmark in food quality and safety.

Strengthening our positioning

We are working to strengthen our positioning as key players in the industries in which we participate.

During the LXV Ordinary General Assembly of the National Chamber of Milk Industries (CANILEC), where the election of the Board of Directors 2025-2026 took place, Jorge Lozano, director of Qualtia Institutional Relations, was appointed president of the Foreign Trade Commission, as well as proprietary director. On the other hand, Talia Daniela Mendoza, head of Regulations, was appointed as alternate proprietary director.

CANILEC is a public interest organization officially recognized as the representative of the national dairy industry, in which leaders, specialists and key actors of the sector meet to discuss the challenges and opportunities that will mark the future of the industry.

Likewise, representing Qualtia in the National Agricultural Council, Jorge Lozano was appointed president of the Corporate Practices Committee.

Both chambers are strategic, as they allow us to keep up to date with the most relevant issues for the organization, as well as to facilitate interaction with decision makers to promote solutions that benefit the industry.

We continue to move forward together to position and strengthen our position in the sector.

Qualtia Begins a New Chapter with “Somos Qualtia”

Qualtia brought together 200 leaders nationwide on November 26 and 27 to introduce “Somos Qualtia,” an initiative that marks the beginning of a new transformation phase aligned with the Xignux Work Culture (CTX).

During the forum, a practical guide was defined, built on four key enablers: We Prioritize Consumers and Customers; We Deliver on Our Commitments; We Grow with Our People; and We Evolve to Win. Each of these pillars includes concrete actions to ensure effective implementation in daily operations. Cada uno de ellos incorpora acciones concretas para asegurar su implementación en la operación diaria.

Among the main initiatives are Marea Qualtia, an immersive point-of-sale experience; the adoption of the Enfoque methodology and the FMDS (Floor Management Development System) to strengthen execution; the promotion of Trust Circles and feedback spaces; and Evoluciona Q, a call to action aimed at driving innovation and recognizing transformation proposals.

With “Somos Qualtia,” the organization reinforces its commitment to translating culture into tangible actions that drive results and empower its people.
